I’d ljust ike to say what a privilege it has been to have crossed paths with Hazel… this mostly during odd days and refresher courses over the years at the Constructive Teaching Centre in London when our visits coincided. It would be a pleasure to recognise Hazel among those gathered, to appreciate again her grace and attentiveness as we explored the Alexander work she seemed to value so highly.
I would like to send heartfelt thoughts to all Hazel’s family and friends.

Dear Hazel, and all her family,
we were supposed to call each other again. We’ll do it the way the birds do. We’ll sing Hazel’s song.
Yesterday in the woods I watched a little squirrel gleaning fruits from the oak tree buried since autumn.
He was so small and frail, but he seemed to have a great appetite. He frantically dug the ground between the grass and occasionally paused to stare thoughtfully at the horizon with his tiny, sparkling eyes, perhaps increasingly aware of his breathing, his axis, and everything around him. Aware of the Presence that is in everything and everyone, of its circulating energy, of the light and its beauty.
And then he would get back to work with determination and grace.
Hazel, you went into the great whole with, I'm sure, the same attitude that made you the woman you are and will always remain in our minds and hearts.
All my condolences to her family and friends
Julie
